Most “the website is finished, please make a new one” messages in India are one broken behaviour wearing a redesign. The form thanks the visitor and the owner never hears. The host upgraded PHP and a page is white. The Play build crashes after an update. A new ₹14,999 website does not answer any of those faster than a patch, and it throws away whatever still works. This is how to tell a bug from a rebuild before you pay. The door for the bug is website and app bug fix in India.
A bug has a before
Something used to work, or the screen claims it works and it does not. You can point at a URL, a button, or a build number. A rebuild has a gap: pages you have never had, a catalogue with no data, a product that is still a deck. If you can finish the sentence “yesterday it…”, you are closer to a bug. If the sentence is “we wish it could…”, you are closer to a feature. Features can be small. They are still not the same invoice as a defect.
Three failures that are not a new site
A 500 or a white screen on one path, especially the morning after a host or plugin change. Read the Mathura 500 checklist even if you are not in Mathura. The order of checks is the same.
A form or WhatsApp button that looks finished. The Vrindavan booking form note and the Agra enquiry note are the guest-house and hotel versions. A shop in another city fails the same way: thank-you on screen, silence in the inbox.
A domain that is parked or a host that suspended the account. That is a bill at the registrar or the host. The Hathras down-site checklist separates that from code. Paying for a design while the domain is parked just gives you a second thing that does not open.
Old PHP, and when a patch is unsafe
Some sites should be replaced. If every page depends on PHP your host will no longer run, a careful patch is a trap. The Aligarh PHP note is that decision. Ask for the file that failed. If the answer is “the whole thing is outdated” with no file, you do not have a diagnosis yet.
Apps
An Android or iPhone crash on a build already in a store is a bug. The Noida crash note lists what to send. A new app is a mobile-app project. We keep both on one bug-fix door so you are not bounced between “website repair” and “app repair” brands. We do not add a repair line to the service menu. The city pages exist so a local business is not dumped into a generic India article: Mathura, Vrindavan, Agra, Aligarh, Hathras, Delhi, Noida.
Who to hire after the one bug
One defect ends. If you need someone on the repo next month, that is hire a full-stack developer. A Delhi team writing the ticket itself should follow how to brief a bug. A new website, when you truly need one, is website development and the pricing page, not a line item called maintenance.
The studio is in Mathura. Remote work is IST, Monday to Saturday, 10am to 7pm. We quote after we can reproduce the error. We do not promise a rank, a same-hour fix, or an office in your city that we do not have.
Questions
When is a rebuild the honest choice?
When the site cannot run safely on current PHP, you have no copy of the content, or you need pages that do not exist. A wrong phone number, a 500 on one path, or a crash after an update is not that choice.
Do website bugs and app bugs go to different companies?
Not here. An existing website and an existing Android or iPhone app share one bug-fix door. A new website and a new app are separate quotes.
Is there a fixed price for a bug fix in India?
No. The quote comes after the error is reproduced. A one-screen bug is not sold as a ₹14,999 website. A rewrite is not sold as a bug fix.
Need this built, not just read?
Send a quote on WhatsApp — same number as the rest of the site.
